About Our Luxury Log Cabins in Scotland

Using the finest Western Red Cedar logs, each of our log cabins have been hand-built by master craftsmen using authentic Norwegian techniques. Specially sourced from sustainably managed forests in British Columbia, Canada, none of the logs have been through a sawmill. Each and every log’s natural beauty has been retained throughout the cabin. It’s just one of the many reasons we are confident our log cabins are unlike anything you may have seen or stayed in before.

Spacious, yet cosy, each cabin’s beautiful interior is a work of art in itself. Log burning stoves, Scottish motifs, local artwork and period sporting paraphernalia blend with wooden furnishings carved in the Himalayas to create a relaxing and inviting ambience from the moment you check in to the moment you check out.

Designed with your peace and comfort in mind, each log cabin has been created with all your day-to-day needs. With a full range of modern appliances, a complimentary Wi-Fi broadband connection, as well as a dedicated PC/office space, guests can disconnect, reconnect and stay in touch with work during their stay.

Beautifully Designed From The Inside, Out

Built in 2013, two core designs have been used throughout our 7 luxury log cabins in Scotland, with further designs planned for the forthcoming years. Each cabin is individually named, and some are set up slightly differently, so take care to choose the cabin most suited to your individual needs.

All of our cabins have an open plan design with the sitting room, kitchen and dining area combined under a cathedral ceiling and open to an upper floor mezzanine with carved balconies overlooking the living space below. And to ensure your cabin is tailored to your holiday needs, all of our bedrooms can be set up as either twin beds or a double bed depending on your preference.

The smaller cabins (cabin design A) are Tringa, Parus, Sylvia and Strix. They each have a double bedroom and a bathroom downstairs, and an open mezzanine room upstairs that has been set up as a second sitting room.

The larger cabins (cabin design B) are Buteo, Loxia and Aquila. They have an additional en-suite bedroom upstairs, as well as an open plan mezzanine area for kids to play or for luggage storage.
